Komplekt is a cultural management and consultancy agency focused on design and other creative practices. The Studio generates content and manages self-initiated as well as commissioned projects.
In Episode 19 of Design Kit, our guest is Vladislav Iliev, better known as Vladzen—an interdisciplinary visual artist, VJ, and founder of Phormatik Studio. He graduated from NATFA (National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts) with a specialization in stage and screen design and worked as a guest lecturer in video mapping within the Digital Arts program at the National Academy of Arts until this year.
Back in 2009, he launched Phormatik Studio with a keen interest in advancing digital culture and creating immersive experiences through art, technology, and design.
In recent years, Vladislav has stood out with cultural projects he has worked on independently or with Phormatik. Among these are “The Bulgarian Rave Archive”, an interactive multimedia exhibition dedicated to electronic music in Bulgaria during the late 1990s; the Heritage Illuminated project, which breathes new life into fading monumental murals using 3D mapping; and the “New Temple” installation, which creates a meditative experience.
